There are certain rights and obligations you need to take into account. And what about the house you share, your pension and the children? With joint coaching, we take the necessary steps to settle the divorce with mutual understanding and without any issues.
You most likely still have to deal with each other after the divorce. We help you to make sure this happens harmoniously.
When you are married, we use the term divorce. When you are not married, we use the term separation. And even then it is very sensible to get help while organising all your (financial) affairs when you are splitting up. Just as in a marriage, you are emotionally and financially connected to each other. And in order for both of you to move on, you need to handle take care of certain affairs. A divorce coach can help you with this.
We prefer a joint coaching process, as you are both dealing with the divorce. However, it might be preferable to talk to someone individually. In that case, personal divorce coaching is an option. For example, if you can't seem to reach an agreement on certain things or because your partner isn't ready yet.
Unfortunately, getting divorced is going to cost money. A lot has to be taken care of and you need specialised people to help you out. Vixx does not charge a standard rate for divorce coaching, as no divorce is the same. You pay us for the time needed for your coaching process. We also charge a consultancy fee, for example when handling your mortgage. Just as financial advice, proper coaching during the divorce process is an investment. If everything is handled quickly and correctly, a lot of unnecessary additional charges in the future can be prevented.
A divorce process is just as intense for children as it is for their parents, if not more intense. They did not choose for their parents to get divorced, and might not have expected their lives to change so dramatically. Our divorce coaches are aware of this, and we can organise additional coaching for the children. We offer support on how best to deal with the children during and after the divorce process.
